Today we’d like to take some time to show our appreciation for the subtitling teams that have helped us
since the first edition of The Galactic Imaginarium Film Festival. Every year, these teams consist of
passionate translation students, trained and supervised by Eliza Filimon.
As some of you may know, the law requires all screened films to be translated in Romanian. This means
that the ones lending us their translation and subtitling skills are invaluable to us and we thank them for
their involvement.
Though most of you never got to meet them, as they were always hard at work in the backstage, you
have enjoyed their craft with every film you watched at our festival. And today it’s time to put some
names to those subtitles!
We would like to thank: Cristina Argetoianu, Denis Calotă, Andreea Cîrcu, Adrian Duciuc, Andreea
Ghercă, Bianca Graszl, Theodora Lucaci, Ciprian Meteș, Cristina Panduru, Andrea Putnoky, Diana Șerban
and Alesia Șiuiu, who have helped us in 2020 for our first ever edition. We wouldn’t be where we are
without you!
We would also like to thank: Maria-Teodora Bistreanu, Biana Graszl, Ștefana Giurcă, Laura Miheț, Ioana
Moldovan, Laura Paraliov, Andrea Putnoky and Vlad Todoros, the subtitling team from last year, when
we introduced feature-length films. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed!
Of course, you will soon hear all about this year’s team so stay tuned!
See you at the festival!
