Foroshka

An enigmatic sci-fi tale, set ‘somewhere’ in Eastern Europe in the near future telling the story of the rise and fall of ‘Foroshka’ – one of the most popular ‘AutoMeka’ buggy racing teams as they embark on their final race of the season.
Much is alluded to, but very little given away and the viewer is challenged to make their own conclusions as the story and tragedy unfolds. It highlights even with technology how disposable our heros are – but ultimately this may not be as easy as we think..
Styled and art-directed with an old 1970’s austere Eastern European cinematic look and feel – the harsh distinctive grade and haunting soundtrack enhances the narrative to give an unsettling ambience to the whole film.
