The film plot: The Starship Crusader encounters a mysterious World War II bomber in outer space called “The Fighting Dragon.” Can they solve the mystery? Starfleet Counselor Veronica Pepperstone (Lezlie Sawyer) had an ancestor Nurse Janet Pepperstone that hitch hiked a ride on the bomber in World War II. She races against the clock for a quick ride home to visit her sick father before he passes away. Unfortunately, Janet must brave the horrors of aerial combat. Can she survive her dangerous journey? Even worse, Janet a born mystical enchantress has forsaken her magical powers to become more human making her the “black sheep” of her family. Will that come back to haunt her? Janet’s disappearance is a Pepperstone family mystery that has never been solved. Indeed, what became of the Fighting Dragon and its crew?
