Today we’d like to take some time to show our appreciation for the subtitling teams that have helped us
\nsince the first edition of The Galactic Imaginarium Film Festival. Every year, these teams consist of
\npassionate translation students, trained and supervised by Eliza Filimon.<\/p>\n
As some of you may know, the law requires all screened films to be translated in Romanian. This means
\nthat the ones lending us their translation and subtitling skills are invaluable to us and we thank them for
\ntheir involvement.<\/p>\n
Though most of you never got to meet them, as they were always hard at work in the backstage, you
\nhave enjoyed their craft with every film you watched at our festival. And today it’s time to put some
\nnames to those subtitles!<\/p>\n
We would like to thank: Cristina Argetoianu, Denis Calot\u0103, Andreea C\u00eercu, Adrian Duciuc, Andreea
\nGherc\u0103, Bianca Graszl, Theodora Lucaci, Ciprian Mete\u0219, Cristina Panduru, Andrea Putnoky, Diana \u0218erban
\nand Alesia \u0218iuiu, who have helped us in 2020 for our first ever edition. We wouldn’t be where we are
\nwithout you!<\/p>\n
We would also like to thank: Maria-Teodora Bistreanu, Biana Graszl, \u0218tefana Giurc\u0103, Laura Mihe\u021b, Ioana
\nMoldovan, Laura Paraliov, Andrea Putnoky and Vlad Todoros, the subtitling team from last year, when
\nwe introduced feature-length films. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed!<\/p>\n
